- Is Air Curtain an Air Conditioner? Can it replace the Air Conditioner?
No, an Air Curtain is not an Air Conditioner, it does not generate cold air. It is a powerful FAN only to isolate the interior and exterior environment. You still need to turn on the air conditioner to make the interior cool.
- The Air Curtain doesnt turn on or the door switch operates oppositely.
Disconnect the magnetic switch and directly connect the 2 yellow wires together to test the air curtain. If the air curtain can turn on and off by toggling the 2 yellow wires, the air curtain is functioning. Just need to replace the magnetic switch. Please review the magnetic switch video
to make sure the effective surface is mounted correctly. If the air curtain is still off after connected the 2 yellow wires together, the circuit board might be defective.
- I ordered the wrong vent option for the range hood, and the range hood is compatible with other vent
You might not need to return the whole range hood, contact Awoco customer service to get the correct vent adapter and covers.
- There is noise from the blower fan wheel in the range hood.

to check if the fan wheel is sat in the middle of the chassis. Release the screw on the motor shaft to adjust it to the center and then tighten the screw. Loosen screw on the motor shaft can also make the noise while the fan wheel rotates.
- The hoods suction is weak or not sucking air out of the kitchen.
Pay attention to Air Damper, make sure the air damper can open freely without obstructing inside the duct jointing. Usually, the Air Damper is located on the top or rear of the hood built into the vent adapter, refer to the drawing picture.
